Try to locate the sources of water in business.

Whenever you see that there is water in business, you should cut off the water valve to stop water flow from the sources. This way, you will prevent further water loss and damage to the building. You can also ask the caretaker of the building to stop the water line.

In most cases, the water usually comes from leaking pipe. So go through the pipeline and find out the leaking sources. Shutting off the water and using a shop vac can be seen as quick mitigation.

Try to drain out excess water from the office. If the water amount is low, you can use a mop or a cloth to wipe out the water. You should also open up the doors to allow the water to drain.

If possible, turn on the AC with the highest drying settings and ensure there is enough air movement. This will help the room to dry up soon.
